How to Check The Size of RAM

Computer is used by every person now a days, doesn't matter user is technical or not. So, for normal computer user it is very difficult to understand the entire computer related technical term. Here in this blog I describe about RAM of your computer like how to check the capacity of RAM?

RAM: RAM is defined as the Random Access Memory of computer system which is used to store the data of your computer system. It is built on your motherboard. It is the min memory of your computer system. It is of two types one is static RAM and second is Dynamic RAM. It is volatile type of memory that is stored information is lost when power supply is off.

To improve your computer’s speed you need to upgrade the RAM of your system and for this you need to expand the size of the RAM. This can be done by adding more RAM in to your computer system in particular RAM slots.

Checking the Capacity of  RAM on Windows OS:

If you have Windows operating system like Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows7 operating system in your computer then it is very easy to check the RAM size of your computer. To do this you need to go on icon “my computer” now makes right click on it and select the option “properties”, now a new window is open on your screen and from this new window you read the size of RAM that was listed in it.
