Motherboard is also called the main board of your computer system. It is used to connect all parts of your computer system like hard drives, memory, optical drive, sound card etc. CPU of your computer setup is mounted on motherboard. Motherboard is the most important component of your computer system and if your motherboard is fine then your computer works fine. Without a motherboard computer can not work. Types of motherboard:

• Socket A Motherboards

It is also known as Socket 464 motherboard. It has 100 to 200 MHz bus speed.

• Socket 370 Motherboards

This type of motherboard is use for CPU with 370 pins. It has 66 to 133 MHz bus speed.

• Socket 378 Motherboards

It is used for CPU with 478 pins having bus speed of 100to 200 MHz It is also known as Socket N motherboard.
